Responsibilities We are looking for a Plant Service Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for implementing various manufacturing platforms used for production in both domestic and international locations. You will act as the project manager for some projects and participate in the implementation on the plant floor in many others. Key Responsibilities

Perform and understand AutoCAD / Solidworks drawings and functions while maintaining mechanical and electrical drawing files

Lead lean Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts (A3, 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams) to improve process and equipment reliability

Develop plant layouts with Project Engineering support

Provide multi-plant assistance and regional support

Routinely provide hands‑on equipment and process troubleshooting and training

Provide leadership support for equipment installations

Install new production lines

Support Engineering on R&D of new equipment and processes

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred; 2‑yr Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plastics acceptable with experience

At least five years in a manufacturing environment

Skills & Competencies

Experience with plastic extrusion or injection molding

Familiarity with Lean processes and Continuous Improvement tools

Strong project management skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitude

Proficient in AutoCAD

Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision

Ability to work within a team environment

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work safely in and around plant equipment

Work within plant climate conditions

Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in temperature extremes

Position requires a full range of body motion, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and the ability to mount / dismount industrial equipment and vehicles

Ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours
