Construction Quality Control Manager (VA Project)

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Construction Quality Control (CQC) Manager with proven experience managing quality assurance on Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project-specific Quality Control Plan, Infection Control Plan, ensuring compliance with VA standards, and coordinating with project teams to deliver high-quality results. Must be team player who is willing to take on all responsibilities necessary to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage the project Quality Control Plan in accordance with VA specifications.
Conduct and document inspections, tests, and audits throughout all phases of construction.
Coordinate with the VA’s Resident Engineer and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract documents.
Maintain daily quality control reports and submittal logs.
Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up meetings for all definable features of work.
Ensure all subcontractors and trades adhere to quality standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a CQC Manager on federal construction projects.
Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs projects major plus .
USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
Strong knowledge of VA construction standards, specifications, and documentation requirements.
Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Familiarity with Procore, RMS 3.0, or other construction management software.
Experience with LEED or sustainable construction practices.
