Area Sales Manager (ASM) The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is a revenue‑generating sales position working with Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and FIAT dealerships. The ASM serves as a liaison between the dealers and Stellantis to assist in all areas of retail development, including forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line, ensuring dealer orders meet market demand, and managing monthly vehicle scheduling to maximize production capability within the area.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing minimum sales responsibility (MSR), providing consultation on improvement opportunities, analyzing dealer financial statements, and consulting with dealers on areas of opportunity to improve retail operations. The ASM will also ensure advertising and marketing initiatives are consistent with corporate messaging and branding guidelines, maintain proper levels of sales satisfaction at all dealerships, and motivate independent entrepreneurs to achieve higher performance while meeting internal goals.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

2+ years of sales or marketing experience

Resides in or near Eastern Carolina/Greenville, NC or willing to relocate

Ability to work in a fast‑paced sales environment

Skilled in Microsoft Suite applications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a new‑car automotive dealership environment

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment

Excel in building positive working relationships

Entrepreneurial individual with a history of leadership and achievement

Self‑motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals
