We are currently seeking a System Test & Validation Engineer in our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. This requires an experienced professional with a background in software quality assurance and system validation. An ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination. Candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. Job Description
Involved in the testing of software/firmware in the automotive domain. Design, develop, and build vehicle validation test cases. Perform analysis, record, and track software bugs to closure. Work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and user experience. Plan and execute system-level test cases related to OTA updates. Perform and collaborate tests on vehicles across all the models and markets. Analyze test data to verify system behavior troubleshooting issues, and raising bug tickets. Clearly communicate test results, collaborate with stakeholders globally to discuss issues detected, and work on the next action plan. Traveling for testing purposes to support end-to-end OTA validation. Triaging bugs and serving as the primary interface to issues encountered in the field. Qualifications
Mandatory: 2+ years of automotive embedded testing experience. Good knowledge of microcontroller architecture, memory layouts, device drivers, compiler, and debugger. Hands-on Experience in
UDS , CAN , and
Ethernet
protocols. Hands-on Experience with
UDS
flashing commands. Hands-on experience in Automotive testing tools like
CANoe , CANalyzer , CANstress, Wireshark. Preferred: Knowledge in
Python
and/or any scripting language. Familiar with Linux platform. Education Requirements: Minimum: Bachelor's in Engineering Equal Opportunity
