Role Summary We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic and growing finance team. This individual will play a key role in the monthly close process, account reconciliations, and cross‑functional support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced SaaS environment and brings a strong sense of ownership, analytical thinking, and the ability to “peek around the corner” to identify opportunities for process optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
Month‑End Close & Financial Reporting
Execute timely and accurate month‑end close activities aligned with the closing calendar.
Perform detailed Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across multiple entities.
Prepare and analyze monthly flux analysis, explaining key drivers of variances.
Record and reconcile payroll journal entries, benefits, and related accruals.
Support the preparation of US GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
Maintain and improve standard close documentation and procedures.
Audit, Compliance & Tax
Support internal and external audit requests, including PBC preparation.
Assist with tax filings, schedules, and coordination with third‑party advisors.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to SOX readiness (as applicable).
Cross‑Functional & Operational Accounting
Perform intercompany (I / C) reconciliations and eliminations across global entities.
Partner with Accounts Receivable to support collections and cash application processes.
Provide accounting support for system implementations and new module integrations (e.g., Sage INTACCT).
Collaborate with FP&A, HR, and IT to ensure end‑to‑end process alignment.
Process Optimization & Business Partnership
Deliver proactive financial support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
Identify and implement improvements to enhance the “customer service” mindset of the accounting function.
Develop and maintain scalable processes and documentation to support growth.
Provide forward‑thinking insights, “peek around the corner”—to anticipate risks and streamline operations.
The ideal candidate brings …
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
Strong understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and operational accounting.
Proven experience managing close activities and reconciliations in Sage INTACCT or similar ERP.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, low‑ego, and high‑accountability team environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
