Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer-TRP (Controls) Join our Service Engineering Team at Baker Hughes. Responsibilities

Lead Trip Reduction Program (TRP) projects for specific Customer Service Agreement (CSA) customers or fleets in the region. Act as a focal point for assigned projects, providing technical leadership in turbomachinery; closely track and manage technical issues to resolution; coordinate and communicate with customer representatives, internal and vendor organizations; fulfill customized evaluations and optimization studies; maintain alignment between site and Baker Hughes Engineering. Conduct technical assessments of fleets composed of gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors; ensure adherence to engineering policies and procedures. Analyze reliability behavior of accessories to enhance the product line. Manage engineering projects as a technical leader by coordinating activities of cross-functional teams. Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA) on equipment through field experience analysis at site or fleet level; define validation plans and measure the effectiveness of corrective actions. Focus on maintenance optimization of auxiliary systems, determining frequency, tasks, and criticalities to extend the fleet Mean Time Between Maintenance interval. Interface with CSA managers to define Scope of Work and schedule for new requests; drive excellence in project execution and reliability enhancement through proactive collaboration with stakeholders. Analyze data and alerts from BH and vendor Monitoring & Diagnostic (M&D) systems to prevent asset failures and optimize performance. Support testing and troubleshooting activities at the site on a case-by-case basis for travel to the site. Review technical documentation such as trip root cause analyses, anomaly notifications, and monthly reports; navigate site-specific control software (e.g., Mark VI/VIe, MicroNet/Plus, RX3i/RX7i) and engineering documents (P&ID, Instrument List, Wiring Diagram). Validate performance calculations on monitored equipment and identify non-conformities. Support the development and deployment of diagnostic systems (hardware, software, data acquisition, analytics, and applications). Provide information about Conversion, Modification, and Upgrade (CMU) opportunities to customers and assist with implementations. Work with site teams on testing and troubleshooting at the site as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university. Minimum 5 years of technical experience in gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors; electrical equipment including Variable Speed Drive Systems (VSDS); motors, generators, and relevant auxiliaries. Experience with LCI (Load Commutated Inverter) and relevant design (including harmonic filters, eHouses, controls). Familiarity with control software and logic (e.g., Mark VI/VIe, MicroNet/Plus). Experience interpreting engineering documents (P&ID, Instrument List, etc.). Experience with vibration condition monitoring systems such as Bently Nevada System1 is a plus; sound analytical and troubleshooting skills. English fluency and ability to work in a global environment; legal authority to work in the USA with successful completion of required pre-employment checks. About and Working Style
