We are seeking an experienced
Project Controls Manager
to join our team supporting a global energy client across North America. This is a unique opportunity to oversee project controls for construction management projects ranging from corporate offices to refineries and offshore rigs. Our Energy & Resource teams provide integrated facilities management, construction oversight, and 24/7 operational support designed to meet the needs of both onshore and offshore facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the project control team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Monitor and optimize project control systems to enhance cost planning, estimating, cost management, and scheduling.
Evaluate current business processes to identify improvements that increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Design and implement solutions for long-term, successful business outcomes.
Develop and conduct operations-related training for project teams.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Apply financial analysis to guide strategic decision‐making, including cost‑benefit analysis and ROI evaluation.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of
Project Controls
or
Construction Management
experience.
Experience in project administration and construction project controls.
Expertise in cost planning, estimating, cost management, and scheduling.
Strong consultative problem‑solving and financial analytical skills.
Proven ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and communicate effectively across all levels.
Strategic decision‑making skills aligned with organizational goals and resources.
Preferred Experience
Leading lean or continuous improvement initiatives within operational environments.
Coaching and mentoring teams to adopt best practices and process improvements.
Development and deployment of engineered labor standards.
