Accounts Payable Specialist
Life is Good is looking for an Account Payable Specialist who thrives on accuracy, loves organization, and brings positive energy to every task.
Responsibilities
Set up new vendors in ERP Accounts Payable (AP) system.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and proper application of GAAP.
Validate vendor invoices before coding and data entry in the ERP AP system.
Match inventory and non‑inventory receiving documents with vendor invoices.
Work with Controller to cut weekly check run and maintain payment documentation.
Ensure proper cutoff of AP invoices for month‑end close.
Reconcile vendor statements to AP vendor accounts; correct discrepancies and inform Controller of issues.
Prepare and send annual 1099 forms.
Use Expensify to code Amex credit card statements and employee expense reports for General Ledger posting.
Qualifications
College level experience in Accounting or Finance; B.S. preferred.
5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance.
Experience with Accounts Payable systems; SAP experience a plus.
Expert‑level mastery of Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
