Clinical Supervisor - LADC, LMHC, LCSW
Join the comprehensive outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) at Gifford Street Comprehensive Treatment Center, a part of Acadia Healthcare’s network of medication‑assisted treatment centers. The Clinical Supervisor will oversee clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support patient recovery through evidence‑based practice.
About Us Located in New Bedford, MA, Gifford Street CTC offers medication‑assisted treatment (MAT), office‑based addiction treatment (OBAT), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and mobile units. Our holistic approach includes recovery coaching, community outreach, and partnership with local institutions to provide patient‑centered care.
Position Details
Full‑time; Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
Location: Massachusetts (New Bedford)
Salary: $72,000 – $74,000 per year

Role Responsibilities
Supervise clinical staff in an outpatient OTP recovery environment.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic policies.
Monitor counselors’ productivity, create improvement plans when necessary.
Develop staff assignments and schedules; communicate changes.
Conduct patient treatment plan reviews and perform chart audits.
Recruit, hire, and train qualified clinical staff.
Provide crisis intervention and liaison services within the community.
Maintain ethical and professional conduct among clinical staff.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in psychology, behavioral health, social work, counseling, or a related field (required).
Minimum two (2) years of supervised substance‑use/addiction counseling experience (required).
Minimum one (1) year full‑time clinical supervisory experience (required).
Leadership experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings.
In‑depth knowledge of MAT protocols (methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone).
Experience supervising and mentoring clinical staff in individual and group counseling.
Strong knowledge of evidence‑based practices (CBT, MI, relapse prevention).
Expertise in clinical documentation compliance and regulatory standards (42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission).
Demonstrated success in multidisciplinary collaboration with medical providers, case managers, and peer support staff.
