Description
We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Otolaryngology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing specialized medical care related to the ear, nose, and throat. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating various conditions, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients. You will be involved in a wide range of projects aimed at delivering high-quality healthcare services in the field of Otolaryngology.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough examinations of patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions.
Diagnose illnesses and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
Perform surgical procedures when necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in Otolaryngology.
Provide education and guidance to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Otolaryngology.
Board certification in Otolaryngology.
Valid state medical license.
Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Call shifts required
Daily Census: 20-25 patients
Cases: Mix of inpatient and outpatient general ENT
Support Staff: MD, APPs, MA, etc.
Must be board-certified
