Highland Chateau Health + Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
PRN In House-Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join our interdisciplinary care team. We are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility committed to providing exceptional care, therapy, and support to our residents and patients.
Position Summary As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders. You’ll collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, and medical teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance quality of life and foster recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess residents with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy to improve residents’ functional communication and swallowing abilities.
Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies to support ongoing progress.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic resident care.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current MN licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA preferred.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
