About The Position Registered Nurse – Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room - Travel - (OR RN)
Start Date: 9/29/2025
Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $2,207.91 – $2,433.21
This department includes all functions related to operating room services, including intraoperative patient care. It also may include perfusion services, inpatient and/or outpatient services, and other operating room support functions. It does not include PACU, anesthesia functions, pre‑op holding, and/or central sterile functions. If your department is operating as a combined department with all surgery services combined, please notify FP&A and we can map it to “Surgical Services Combined Without Anesthesia” to provide you with an appropriate benchmark.

We are comprised of a 25‑bed critical access hospital and offer a range of services in Fort Bragg. Job Summary Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Job Requirements Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Acute care facility experience:

Licenses/Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS‑BLS OR RQIBLS) certification:

Essential Functions Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation. Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team. Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse, OR
Experience: 2 years
Licenses: RN‑CA
Certifications: BLS‑AHA; ACLS‑AHA; PALS
Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history
References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months
