Job Overview Pillari Bros Construction Corp is hiring an experienced and highly skilled Sanitary & Stormwater Superintendent to join our Field Operations team in the Greenville, NC region. In this role, you will lead crews in the installation of underground sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water mains. The position is a boots‑on‑the‑ground leadership role that requires hands‑on involvement in daily operations, a strong understanding of trench safety, laser alignment, and grade setting, and the ability to maintain safety and quality across the board.

Key Responsibilities
Lead crews in the installation of sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water mains.
Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Direct daily field operations and monitor productivity.
Maintain job‑site safety, conduct safety briefings, and enforce OSHA and confined‑space protocols.
Set up and use laser beams and shoot grades for accurate pipe installation.
Operate basic construction equipment when needed to support field activities.
Communicate effectively with inspectors, project managers, and other trades.
Perform quality control inspections throughout project phases.
Maintain and oversee equipment condition and functionality.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Crew Foreman for underground utilities.
Proficient in sanitary sewer, storm drain, and water main installations.
Ability to shoot grades and set laser beams.
Basic equipment operating skills preferred.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Confined Space Entry certification required.
Trenching & Excavation certification preferred.
Valid and clean driver’s license.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
