Overview
Join to apply for the Equipment Engineering Technician, CMP role at Tower Semiconductor. This role performs preventative maintenance, repair and improvement to semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems. The position involves multidisciplinary aspects – electrical, electronics, mechanics and pneumatics – and interfaces with Equipment Engineers and area Managers, Procurement Department, and Operations to identify and resolve equipment issues supporting production. Provides opportunities to participate in projects aimed at improving reliability, reducing costs and enhancing safety. This position involves preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets in the Implant area. Implant area tool set includes Axcelis, Hi current, GSD 200, Mid current 8250, Hi energy GSD He & Hi current Purion implanters.

Job Requirements
Degree areas : 2 year degree or equivalent is preferred with at least 5 years of Implant equipment experience; Axcelis GSD, Purion and 8250 preferred.
Must possess excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
Must be proficient in MS Office products and various OS platforms.
Must understand the concept of consumable and non-consumable parts costs and look for ways to reduce costs without affecting tool or product performance.
Must have advanced knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.
