Senior Electrical Engineer
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their manufacturing facility near Duluth, MN.
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr – $135,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Provide technical oversight for electrical systems installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects
Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of electrical capital projects involving power distribution, drives, instrumentation, PLCs, and controls
Manage external vendors, designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely, cost‑effective execution
Support operations with troubleshooting and maintenance of systems
Maintain and update plant one‑line diagrams and electrical distribution (≤13.8 kV)
Oversee power system engineering tasks, including Arc Flash program compliance
Collaborate cross‑functionally to optimize reliability and safety
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
7+ years of experience preferred in manufacturing or industrial electrical systems
Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems (13.8 kV and below).
Strong project management skills; able to work across multiple timelines and lead
multi-million-dollar capital projects
from concept through startup.
Familiarity with PLCs, drives, and instrumentation systems
Motivated learner with a proactive mindset
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and power system modeling tools preferred
