$45/hr + $140/day per diem

About the Role Join a high-impact team building the next generation of nuclear-powered submarines and aircraft carriers. We’re looking for experienced Structural Welders who specialize in Pulse Arc welding (GMAW-P) and thrive in dynamic, hands‑on environments. This is your chance to contribute to national defense while working with cutting‑edge shipbuilding technology.
What You’ll Do
Perform multi‑pass, all‑position fillet and butt welds using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GMAW‑P.
Work in physically demanding environments including shipboard, sub‑assemblies, and staging areas.
Apply air carbon arc gouging and use fillet/butt weld gauges with precision.
Ensure full compliance with OSHA shipbuilding regulations.
Pass MIL‑STD‑248D multi‑pass butt weld qualification tests.
What You Bring
4+ years of welding experience in naval shipyards.
Expertise in GMAW, FCAW, and GMAW‑P welding processes.
Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards.
Skilled in air carbon arc gouging and weld gauge usage.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
