The estimated base salary range for this role is "$120,000 to $150,000" per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.

What does a Principal Electrical Engineer do?

You’ll be at the helm of major capital projects, ensuring they adhere to agreed-upon cost, schedule, and performance metrics.

Collaborate with vendors to specify equipment and design assets for new production lines within existing facilities or new ones.

Scope and recommend projects aimed at cost reduction and sustainability.

Investigate process and equipment issues, providing recommendation for corrective measures.

Apply sound engineering principles to all aspects of your work.

Actively participate in multifunctional project teams, overseeing capital projects from concept to asset installation and start-up.

Engage in Lean events to drive rapid process improvements.

Mentor and develop engineers and maintenance personnel, sharing technical and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Possess 7-10 years of experience in technical engineering or leading capital projects.

PLC and HMI programming experience with Rockwell suite of products.

Manage multi-faceted projects, catering to senior level stakeholders.

Capital management experience.

Drive the adoption of new technology platforms within manufacturing plants.

Be comfortable with hands‑on installations and construction tasks.

Lean Practitioner certification or experience utilizing Lean tools.

SAP experience.

Wonderware experience.
