EP Lab Nurse - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Nurse
Position Summary: The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Nurse is responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing patient care throughout the procedural experience. Utilizing the nursing process as a framework for critical thinking and decision-making, the nurse ensures safe, effective, and compassionate care from admission through discharge. This role requires close collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced, technologically advanced environment. The EP Lab Nurse also demonstrates leadership, supports the professional growth of colleagues, and maintains the highest standards of confidentiality, safety, and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
One (1) year of experience as an RN in an EP Lab and/or Cath Lab.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Where You’ll Work Nestled in the heart of East Sacramento, Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital is a 313‑bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of services with special advocacy for the poor and underserved. Mercy General offers a nationally ranked Alex G. Spanos Heart & Vascular Institute and has earned numerous recognitions, including CMS 5‑star rating, Leapfrog safety grade "A", and Level 4 Epilepsy Center.
Pay Range: $67.57 - $82.06 /hour
