We are looking for an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical group in Southern Illinois, mainly in the Marion, IL region. We offer 100% mobile wound care, so the provider will travel to people’s homes and facilities (we provide car and driver) providing high-quality chronic wound care. The position will potentially be 2‑3 days a week to start, with a possibility of 4‑5 days a week depending on patient flow and scheduling.

Duties
Provide advanced wound care treatments in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, long‑term care, and skilled nursing facilities
Assess and evaluate wounds to determine the appropriate treatment plan
Implement evidence-based wound care protocols and techniques
Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, advanced biologics, and other wound care procedures
Monitor and document wound healing progress
Educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff on wound management techniques and prevention strategies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes and ensure seamless patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Illinois
Must be within commutable distance within the Marion area
Certification/training and clinical experience in wound care (WCC, CWCN, CWS, or similar); training can be provided
Proficiency in wound assessment, treatment modalities, and wound care products
Salary
$70–$80 /hr (depending on training/certifications)
Schedule
Full time or Part time (Weekdays only Mon‑Fri)
