Job Description As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will work in close partnership with customer groups to manage and resolve employee relations issues. You will promote positive and proactive employee relations, building management responsibility and capability. Your role will involve leading generalist duties in performance management, training, talent acquisition, and more. You will be instrumental in driving cultural and people-focused organizational change, supporting business improvement initiatives, and delivering decision support via HR data and metrics.
Responsibilities
Manage employee relations issues in partnership with customer groups.
Promote positive employee relations and support team members and leaders.
Build management responsibility and capability for managing employee relations.
Lead generalist duties in performance management, training, and talent acquisition.
Drive cultural and people aspects of organizational change and business improvement initiatives.
Assist customer groups with HR data and metrics to drive business objectives.
Provide support to the HR Manager and HR Team on various HR initiatives.
Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to employee requests and questions.
Conduct audits for payroll, benefits, or other HR programs.
Conduct and document workplace investigations, including PIPs.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources.
5+ years of experience in HR roles such as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
Bilingual in Spanish (Speaking / Writing) is required
Proficiency in Ultipro and UKG.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with employee engagement and organizing events.
Ability to take strategic ownership and lead projects.
Cross-training in payroll, benefits, and recruitment.
Work Environment This position is onsite in Elizabeth, requiring presence at the manufacturing facility five days a week. The work environment is a manufacturing setting, which is not glamorous, and candidates must be comfortable with it. The facility does not have elevators, requiring navigation of stairs. HR staff are deeply involved in hands‑on support, including employee engagement, onboarding, payroll, and benefits coordination, and organizing events like service awards and seasonal celebrations.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $53.00 / hr.
