Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon with a strong surgical bias, looking to join a forward‑thinking, well‑equipped hospital team?

My client is a well‑established 24‑hour veterinary practice set in the heart of East Yorkshire’s beautiful countryside. The practice is located in an affluent rural area, offering not only a fantastic work environment but also a wonderful lifestyle outside of work.

You’ll be joining a talented and supportive team that includes a dedicated Lead Vet, Practice Manager, Head Nurse, an experienced clinical team of Vets and RVNs, SVNs and support staff. Out of hours are fully covered by an in‑house night team, ensuring continuity of care and work‑life balance.

Facilities & Services

Separate dog, cat, exotic & isolation wards

Three operating theatres with modern surgical equipment

Fully equipped in‑house laboratory

Advanced diagnostic imaging: ultrasound, doppler, digital X‑ray, CT suite

Wide range of endoscopes (including rhinoscopy & arthroscopy)

ECG, hydrotherapy, underwater treadmill & laser therapy

The Role

Full‑time: 40 hours over 4 days per week

Weekends: 1 in 6 rota

Part‑time: Flexible options available – let’s discuss what works for you

Relocation package: Available for candidates moving from outside the UK or >60 miles from current residence

About You We are looking for a RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with:

A strong interest and experience in surgery

Clinical leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support the team

Confidence in supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures

A passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care

The Package

A generous salary of up to £90,000 DOE
