Job Overview

Pillari Bros Construction Corp is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Field Engineer to support our project management team in delivering high-quality civil construction projects. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow in the commercial sitework and utility construction industry. The Field Engineer will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure jobsite documentation, field coordination, and technical execution are aligned with project goals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with jobsite layout, field coordination, and documentation

Interpret project drawings, specifications, and submittals

Track project progress and assist with schedule updates and field reporting

Support quality control efforts, including material inspections and documentation

Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to resolve field issues

Monitor subcontractor work and ensure adherence to plans and safety protocols

Maintain organized project documentation including RFI logs, submittals, and daily reports

Support preconstruction efforts, including take-offs and procurement coordination

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred

1+ year of experience in construction; internships or co-ops accepted

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

OSHA 30 certification required or willingness to obtain

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with construction software a plus

Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday to Friday

Weekend work may be required occasionally, based on project timelines

Onsite in Greenville, NC and surrounding areas

Minimal travel outside local project zones
