Provide recommendations to human resources business partners (HRBPs) based on analysis and established practices. Participate in compensation surveys, conduct various market analyses to support pay structure designs, job leveling and analytical support for pay programs applicable to assigned line of business. 2+ years of experience preparing analyses and interpreting/applying data to create reports
1 year of total rewards or compensation administration experience (e.g., market pricing and survey participation)

Ability to explain compensation concepts in a simple/straightforward way to internal customers
Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
Excellent initiative in following through on next steps, discerning the need for additional information and obtaining feedback from stakeholders and other resources
Excellent attention to detail in providing accurate and quality work deliverables
Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and manage shifting priorities

Bachelor’s Degree
Any working experience with automated compensation planning (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, etc.)
Any working experience with compensation administration applications (e.g., MarketPay, Payfactors, Oracle, etc.) - Update market pricing for roles in assigned line of business for annual compensation planning, special projects and ad hoc requests
Partner with compensation manager and/or lead compensation manager to provide recommendations to client groups on compensation issues such as job evaluation, FLSA exemption reviews, compensation analyses, total compensation review and related issues
Prepare standard market analyses and other compensation-related reports for management presentations
Assist in the design and costing of proposed wage progression structures, market-aligned pay ranges and bonus pay plans to support the total rewards strategy
Coordinate across Compensation COE to provide enterprise-wide support to business partners throughout the nonexecutive compensation planning process in accordance with compensation guidelines
Lead compensation survey process and complete compensation surveys based on established survey schedule; build survey library; ensure correct job matching and timely participation; coordinate with PayScale for MarketPay updates
Oversee the compensation survey library and budget, including standing and new survey acquisition s for improving coverage of enterprise positions
Generate associate data downloads and create spreadsheets to assist in the development of market analyses and other ad hoc reports
Coordinate with and respond to requests from corporate and division managers related to market analyses, program design and other compensation-related information while following compensation guidelines, policies and contracts
Work with division HR, Workforce Analytics and/or Kroger Technology to drive data integrity and/or human resource system changes
