Job Description Carleigh is a lifelong educator, local elected official, mother of two, and wife of a public school teacher. She’s running to hold this critical seat, fight for Granite State families, and bring a new generation of leadership to Washington. The Finance Assistant/ Deputy Finance Director will be part of the leadership team, report directly to the Campaign Manager, and work closely with the candidate.
This full-time, in-person role is based in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and the campaign is looking to fill the position immediately through November 2026.
Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage a call time program with the support of the Campaign Manager.
Staff candidate during call time & implement a staff call time strategy.
Prospect potential donors and oversee donor research programs.
Perform all donor follow up, including timely emails, letters, calls, and thank you notes.
Assist with fundraising and fundraising strategy, including pitching creative fundraising ideas.
Staff fundraising events and meetings as needed.
Liaise with political allies and stakeholders as delegated.
DFD Specific: Execute several aspects of the campaign’s Finance Plan for the 2026 cycle under supervision of the Campaign manager; Manage and build upon a robust events program, including but not limited to: host recruitment, scheduling, logistics, and staffing events both in New Hampshire and nationally.
Other duties as assigned, based on the needs of the campaign.
Qualifications Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to timely needs, including from the principal.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Spreadsheets, NGP, ActBlue, and familiarity with call time software (e.g. Pingdex).
Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
Desired: Previous cycles of fundraising experience at any level.
