About the Position Lenovo’s Solutions Services Group (SSG) is a business unit focused on delivering end‑to‑end IT solutions and services. SSG combines Lenovo’s hardware and software expertise to offer services such as managed services and “as a service” (AaS) offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment and initial configuration of data center equipment, including servers, storage systems and SAN switches (Lenovo, NetApp, IBM, Brocade). You will work onsite at our Morrisville, NC location on a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and configure data center equipment, including servers, storage systems and SAN switches.

Perform firmware upgrades for hardware devices.

Conduct routine hardware administration and inspection.

Troubleshoot hardware and coordinate repair requests.

Manage the hardware lifecycle, including planning, tracking and retirement.

Design and develop automated operations scripts, tools and platforms to improve efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

1‑3 years of experience with server and storage operation and maintenance.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in server hardware architecture and troubleshooting.

Solid understanding of SAN/NAS technologies, multipath configuration and storage virtualization.

Understanding of FC and iSCSI protocols.

3+ years of experience handling server and storage operations for a global company.

Excellent problem‑analysis and resolution skills.

Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Cultural competency working across diverse cultural contexts.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $70‑80k. Additional bonus and/or commission may be considered.
