Manufacturing Manager Needed in Plano, Texas!
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations across CNC machining, deburr, and surface treatment departments
Ensure consistent delivery of tight-tolerance components using HAAS, RoboDrill, Enshu, and Kiwa CNC equipment
Support a production team of up to 50 employees—providing direction, structure, coaching, and feedback to supervisors, leads, and operators
Foster a productive, accountable, and team-oriented culture through clear expectations, daily huddles, and regular check-ins
Utilize FMDS (Floor Management Development System) to monitor and drive performance across KPIs (throughput, quality, labor and machine utilization, scrap, downtime)
Collaborate with engineering and prototyping to ensure seamless new product launches and machining readiness
Implement and sustain Lean / TPS (Toyota Production System) practices, including Standard Work, 5S, visual controls, and waste elimination
Ensure compliance with ATF, ITAR, and internal controls
Identify training needs, support cross‑training efforts, and develop bench strength across the team
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization consistent with OSHA and internal standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
5–10 years of experience in a CNC machining environment, with 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong technical knowledge of precision machining processes, tooling, and inspection methods
Hands‑on familiarity with Fanuc‑controlled equipment and experience managing HAAS, Robodrill, Enshu, and Kiwa CNC platforms
Demonstrated ability to manage teams using visual KPI systems (FMDS or equivalent) and Lean principles
Proven ability to lead structured shop floor routines and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred).
Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems, scheduling, and production tracking
