Psychologist – Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health, Clinical Psychologist – Psychosis Emphasis (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Position Overview: At OSUWMC, we are committed to providing compassionate, evidence‑based care.

We seek faculty who complement our current strengths and support our clinical mission.

The successful candidate will join our interdisciplinary EPICENTER team to care for patients with, and at‑risk for, psychotic and related disorders in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health.

The psychologist will direct or provide care in a manner consistent with the privileges granted by the governing body of University Hospitals and approved by the University Board of Trustees.

Duties and Responsibilities

Patient care, education, and clinical research as per OMSWMC tripartite mission.

Provide clinical evaluation and assessment, individual cognitive‑behavioral therapy, metacognitive remediation therapy, family education and support, and community education.

Utilize thorough knowledge of DSM‑5 and ICD‑10 mental health diagnoses.

Contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits.

Perform committee and conference participation, represent OSU at professional meetings and community speaking engagements.

Practice within established Medical Center policies, procedures, protocols, and key result areas.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in psychology.

Licensed or license‑eligible in the state of Ohio.

Graduate from an APA‑ or CPA‑accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program with an accredited clinical internship.

At least one year of relevant post‑doctoral experience.

Licensed in Ohio by time of appointment.

Competent in technical clinical skills and possess the required cognitive and interpersonal skills for psychosis care.

Previous training or experience with patients with psychotic disorders is preferred.

Salary $90,000.00 – $120,000.00
