About the role The HR Business Partner & Learning Partner plays a pivotal role in anticipating business needs and partnering with leaders across the US and EMEA regions to deliver impactful people initiatives that enable the business to execute its strategy. This role is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong focus on Learning and Development (L&D)—especially Leadership Development—and the creation and delivery of engaging digital learning experiences, including webinars.

Your experience

Experience in HR Business partnering with senior leaders to create and deliver practical people plans that drive business outcomes.

A comprehensive understanding of the core disciplines within HR, including diversity equity and inclusion, performance management, remuneration and benefits, talent management, employee relations, and practical experience of these elements (inc. cyclical HR activity).

Experience and interest in Learning and Development, with a track record in designing, developing, and delivering engaging bite‑sized content for global audiences.

Business acumen—demonstrable commercial and compliant HR delivery, understanding of financial services industry, risk and reward models, and business outcomes (investment management industry experience preferred).

Proven ability to build and nurture collaborative relationships and successfully influence and coach stakeholders across varying levels of seniority, cultures and regions.

Strong learning design skills, with the ability to create engaging leadership development content.

Skilled in digital facilitation, including webinar platforms, virtual classroom tools, and online learning technologies.

Ability to diagnose talent and learning needs and adapt solutions to meet local and regional requirements.

Highly self‑motivated, able to demonstrate a proven and successful record of delivery, collaboration and influence.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and inspire leaders at all levels.

Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Demonstrated capability in managing change and building organisational capability at scale.

Continuous Improvement and compliance: Commitment to staying current with global HR and L&D trends, technologies, risk awareness and compliance focussed, with a foundation built on best practice.

Global Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across time zones, cultures, and languages, adapting communication and learning approaches as needed.

Understand business / functions, and partner with senior leaders to develop and implement People Plans aligned to FSG's vision, purpose, values, and strategic goals.

Design, develop, and deliver Leadership Development workshops and content, including digital modules, toolkits, and resources.

Attract talent into the business by providing support and oversight to hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team where needed.

Facilitate webinars and virtual workshops on leadership topics, ensuring high engagement and learning impact for global audiences.

Collaborate with Talent & Leadership, DEI & Employee Experience, Performance & Reward, and Shared Services colleagues to co‑develop sustainable people solutions.

Manage cyclical global talent reviews, succession planning, and development plans for key talent.

Identify training needs and align global learning programs with business objectives, leveraging digital platforms for delivery.

Advise and coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and leadership challenges, considering best practice and local legislative frameworks.

Deliver core HR programs, including annual performance and remuneration reviews, across multiple regions.

Lead and support global transformation, restructuring, and change management initiatives.

Embed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies into HR and L&D practices, ensuring consistency and impact worldwide and working closely with DEI community groups globally and supporting initiatives in NY.

Guide leaders to improve employee experience and evolve organisational culture globally.

Leverage data and analytics to provide insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership, measuring the impact of L&D and HR initiatives.

Drive effective organisational design, comprehensive workforce planning, and design and deliver change management as the organisation evolves.
