We are seeking an energetic, community-oriented Director of Sales to guide the direct sales efforts of our Hampton Inn Ft Lauderdale-West / Pembroke Pines hotel. Grow existing accounts and generate new business, utilizing available resources including, but not limited to, Delphi, brand specific tools, TravelClick, ProfitSage, internal BI tools, etc. Serve as the hotel and market expert communicating all related, relevant information to inform the sales strategy. Provide financial leadership of the sales process including group / catering revenue. Forecast, prepare, and participate in the creation of the annual budget and prepare financial reviews at the property level and above. Conduct ongoing, comprehensive reviews of competitors, understand their comp sets, current and targeted business mix, as well as their strategy. Actively engage in the local community to further increase brand / product awareness via approved memberships, charitable activities, and business community / networking events. Develop and maintain strong relationships with account decision makers, brand liaisons, housing agencies, etc. Engage in open, direct, and respectful communication of objectives to the entire hotel team, ensuring everyone is informed and included about sales strategies. Ensure key stakeholders of the hotel revenue team actively participate in every strategy-related decision and that all tactical / operational plans are understood, agreed upon and updated for successful implementation. Maintain sales reports to track performance and progress towards goals, ensuring data is accurate across various reporting channels. WHY Hampton Inn Ft Lauderdale-West / Pembroke Pines hotel

Minimum of at least 2 years of experience required in a hotel sales / leadership role preferably in a Hilton brand. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to cultivate a productive team that embodies PEACH. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities are constantly changing. Strong knowledge of Delphi.fdc and Hilton systems preferred but not required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises. TRAVEL:
