Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Assembly Technician to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and conduct quality control on electromechanical assemblies and sub‑assemblies. You will ensure each product meets specified quality standards and maintain thorough documentation.
Responsibilities
Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, and standing instructions.
Utilize hand tools, measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauge pins), and testing equipment such as HiPot testers and multimeters.
Calculate parameters and conduct testing as per standing instructions.
Assemble products following work and standing instructions.
Verify quantities and shipping items per Work Orders; pack finished products for delivery.
Inspect inbound parts for geometry, dimensional tolerance, and visual quality; ensure parts meet drawing specifications.
Build products by accurately interpreting schematics.
Apply critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail throughout the process.
Perform wire cutting, unpacking, and repacking tasks as needed.
Utilize packaging and material‑handling skills in a warehouse environment.
Work overtime and Saturdays on a voluntary basis as required.
Required Skills
Experience operating PIT or forklift equipment (plus).
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to solve practical problems.
Mathematical calculation proficiency.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
Excellent communication with coworkers; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Education & Experience High School diploma or GED required; technical school a plus. 1–4 years of related assembly, quality control, or inventory management experience.
Working Hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; work boots required.
