Base Pay Range:

$98,000 – $130,000 per year

About The Team The Global Security, Systems & Infrastructure (GSSI) team leads the charge in protecting people, assets and innovations. It integrates physical and digital measures, using AI and autonomous systems to anticipate and solve threats, enabling Anduril’s transformative work in defense technology.

About The Job The Physec Systems Engineer will design, implement and maintain advanced IT infrastructure and networking solutions for Anduril’s facilities and operations. The role bridges IT requirements and technological solutions, ensuring operational efficiency and security for the organization’s assets and personnel.

What You'll Do

Design and engineer comprehensive security system infrastructure.

Manage security system projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to determine appropriate security measures and technologies.

Develop detailed system specifications, architectural drawings, and technical documentation for security installations.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure security systems integrate seamlessly with IT infrastructure and other relevant systems.

Manage and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and integrators throughout the implementation process.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide advanced support for security systems.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security system operations and maintenance.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Provide technical training and support to security personnel and end‑users on new systems and technologies.

Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in security technology and continuously improve Anduril’s security infrastructure.

Architect and deploy robust IT infrastructure and networking solutions that meet operational and security needs.

Integrate various IT systems and infrastructure components to ensure seamless operation and communication across the network.

Manage and oversee Physical Security projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for all Physical Security infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Work closely with IT teams and other stakeholders to align Physical Security solutions with business objectives.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, infrastructure designs, and project plans.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise‑level security systems.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and AWS.

Proven experience in project management, including budgeting and resource allocation.

Proficiency in CAD software and Lucid.

Experience with Infoblox, NetBox, and troubleshooting communication issues.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.

Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export‑controlled information or facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PSP, or other technical certifications.

Experience with cloud‑based security solutions and IoT devices.

Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in security systems.

Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity framework and other relevant standards.

Experience in a defense or high‑tech industry setting.
