Location: Portland, OR (in‑person) Position Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated RF Test Engineer to work with a cross‑disciplinary team developing and maturing our counter‑drone technologies. You will design, develop, and implement testing plans for RF devices throughout the product lifecycle in a software development and manufacturing environment. Required Skills / Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills – write clear, well documented test plans and procedures for RF devices and systems. Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn with a continuous‑improvement mindset. Ability to work in a small team to rapidly prototype and develop new products. 7+ years of experience with RF test equipment and analysis using programming/scripting languages, preferably in a product development and/or regulatory compliance role. Strong understanding of RF principles, signal propagation, antenna theory, and radio system parameters (e.g., noise figure, EVM, modulation, bandwidth). Experience with antenna measurement tools (e.g., anechoic chambers) or design software (e.g., ADS, HFSS). Experience working with electromechanical assemblies. Experience with RF transmitter, receiver, sampler, and transceiver test development. Proficiency in scripting and software for test automation, data analysis, and simulation (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB). Experience with Windows and UNIX operating systems. Hands‑on experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters. Demonstrated ability to debug, troubleshoot, and solve complex RF problems. Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Experience with PCB level debugging. Knowledge of wireless communication standards. Understanding of MIL‑STD‑461 and MIL‑STD‑464 electromagnetic compatibility testing standards. Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field. Clearance Level Required

Up to 10%. Working Conditions
General office environment with occasional work in a warehouse. Physical Demands
Stand, climb, and occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Move between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work. Perform heavy lifting, moving of items, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors when required. Other Requirements
Legal right to work in the United States and eligibility to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance. Salary
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and other factors. Position eligible for an annual bonus. Pay range is a general guideline only. Benefits
