About This Role Seeking a highly motivated & entrepreneurial individual with exceptional technical acumen to develop and execute channel growth strategies, go‑to‑market strategies, and structured business planning. In this role you will generate customer loyalty and grow sales and margin within the Commercial & Industrial space. Focus on driving existing & developing new specifications with Edwards Signaling products, finding the right customer solutions to drive immediate and sustainable business. The position is fully remote; ability and passion to travel extensively throughout the United States, visiting customers & local sales teams in‑person, is essential. You will be the face of Edwards Signaling, using your excellent communication and negotiation skills to share our customer solutions and drive revenue. Key Responsibilities

Sales Expertise: Proven ability to identify, qualify, and secure new business by offering tailored solutions that align with the client’s operational needs.

Proposal Development: Ability to create detailed and accurate proposals, including estimates, pricing, and scope of work for large industrial projects.

Problem‑Solving: Collaborate with internal teams to address any project challenges and ensure a seamless client experience from initial engagement to job completion.

Customer‑Centric Focus: Build strong, long‑term relationships with clients through regular site visits, proactive communication, and ongoing service support.

Establish new relationships and business opportunities with end users, facility managers, engineers, specifiers, contractors, and others to obtain product specifications.

Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams: Product, Trade Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, etc.

Develop strong relationships (dotted‑line structure) as Signaling channel leader with Regional Sales Teams and Rep Agency partners; collaborate on project initiation, hand‑offs, and specifications.

Long‑term team development – outline future team structure, identify key position needs for direct reports, and contribute to growth strategy planning with Signaling Managing Director and Product Manager.

Represent company as Subject Matter Expert (SME) at necessary trade shows or industry events.

Develop a balanced strategy to drive channel competition while defending and improving segment positioning for Edwards Signaling.

Identify key competitors, provide market intelligence internally to identify gaps, assist with NPD ideation, and drive supply chain excellence.

Work closely with Demand‑Supply Planning teams; lead timely input for S&OP process to balance on‑time delivery and company inventory turnover goals.

Drive periodic generation and executive reporting of business insights based on channel insight, data, and market trends.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

5+ years as account manager or sales engineer; lighting/electrical industry experience.

3+ years of experience working with and managing rep agencies.

Overnight domestic travel of up to 75% required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field preferred.

Technical Aptitude: Exceptional technical and mechanical acumen related to industrial systems.

Sales Drive: Strong ability to close sales, negotiate effectively, and deliver results while building relationships with existing and potential clients.

Communication Skills: Exceptional listening and communication; documented history of successful sales growth and quota achievement.

History of documented success in OEM customer development and management.

Experience in CRM development, onboarding, utilization, and reporting.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Teams).

Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this role is $162,265–$190,900. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both the individual's and the company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
