Territory Management
Develop a deep understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape using business insight tools to adapt to evolving business needs. Account Management
Navigate the changing healthcare environment to understand key accounts and build trusted partnerships with medical oncologists, oncology nurses, office managers, reimbursement managers, and pharmacists. Selling Skills / Customer Experience
Dialogue Agility
Actively listen and adapt to verbal and non‑verbal customer prompts throughout conversations. Medical Integrity
Demonstrate learning agility to understand clinical information, disease state, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace. Engage with every member of an account using this information. Selling Skills
Promote the entire product portfolio by planning patient‑centered dialogues with customers. Utilize our selling model to help identify appropriate patients during conversations. Execution / Results
Sales Activity
Use all available business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while adhering to internal policies and PhRMA code. Partner Collaboration
Collaborate with field‑facing and internal peers to create a coordinated and positive customer experience. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Professional certification or license required when mandated by state regulations. Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; Lilly does not sponsor visas. Additional Skills / Preferences
Three or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non‑pharmaceutical) post‑undergraduate degree. Graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD) is a plus. Demonstrated business ownership, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results. Account‑based selling experience and expertise in engaging staff members within accounts. Strong background navigating complex integrated health systems. Extensive understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution models. Experience selling injectable/infusion molecules in a complex reimbursement environment. History of working with multiple cross‑functional partners. Strong learning agility, self‑motivation, team focus, emotional intelligence, and influence. Must reside within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
