The Opportunity Seeking a Project Engineer II to support all phases of commercial interior projects: preconstruction, estimating, execution, and closeout. Manage Procore docs/financials, coordinate RFIs/submittals/procurement, and ensure seamless team/trade communication. Ideal for organized multitaskers with 3+ years in interiors—precon/estimating experience required. In this collaborative firm, your technical skills and empathy drive outcomes in an innovative, inclusive environment.
What You'll Do
Grasp estimating processes, review construction docs/drawings thoroughly.
Maintain positive, proactive attitude; deliver clear communication with partners and teams.
Provide site coverage for Supers as needed.
Assist in project folder setup, permits, and Procore onboarding (new projects, electronic binders).
Manage MSA/work orders post-approval; create OAC agendas/minutes, progress photo reports.
Oversee submittals (with PM oversight), procurement logs (weekly calls/emails to trades).
Create commitments/COs in Procore; reconcile financials monthly before accounting submission.
Manage Day 2 items, closeout docs distribution, punch lists (iPad on-site).
What You'll Bring
3+ years as Project Engineer in commercial interior construction; precon/estimating required.
Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Project Management preferred.
Strong tech skills (Procore expert); manage multiples/deadlines in fast pace.
High engagement, empathy-centered people skills for team support.
