We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide leadership and direction to Nonprofit organization. As the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the organization, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively to meet our strategic objectives. You will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Why join us?

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to the organization's operations, including finance, accounting, IT, human resources, programs, and administrative functions. Develop and implement operational strategies and objectives that align with the organization's strategic plan. Oversee the development and implementation of systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor performance against operational objectives and make necessary adjustments to ensure targets are met. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Lead cross-functional teams and manage diverse programs to deliver high‑quality services and achieve organizational objectives. Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus 10+ years of relevant experience (with at least 5 years in senior‑level management). Equivalent combination of education and / or direct work experience totaling 15+ years providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Strong background in nonprofit operations, program administration, compliance, and organizational systems. Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage diverse programs. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team. Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and solve complex problems. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, board members, external partners, and stakeholders. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical practices and standards. Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
