SQL Server DBA
Remote (Hybrid candidates if in Mpls)
Contract-to-Hire (6 months, potential early conversion)
Base Pay Range $125,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr
Required Qualifications Database Administration (Primary Focus):
5-7 years SQL Server DBA experience across multiple versions (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022)
Proven ability to work independently without senior DBA oversight
Database maintenance plan creation and management
Patching troubleshooting and implementation across SQL Server version environments
Data refresh processes and automation
Index optimization and performance tuning
Backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery
Software Development (Secondary Focus but still required):
2-3 years development experience in EITHER .NET Core/C# OR React (both not required)
Ability to follow established coding patterns and learn from senior developers
Collaborative approach to working within development team structure
Nice to Have
Redis (NoSQL) experience
MongoDB experience or NoSQL database exposure
Print/manufacturing or complex transaction processing environment background
Manage approximately 500 SQL Server databases in stable, mature environment
Perform monthly production-to-lower-environment data refresh processes
Implement and maintain patching schedules and maintenance plans
Contribute to internal order management system development
Support integration with legacy systems (PSI), financial systems, and microservices architecture
Collaborate with Infrastructure team (reports to Operations to ensure task prioritization)
Frontend: React
NoSQL: Redis (operational), MongoDB (coming soon)
Cloud: AWS infrastructure

The projected salary conversion rate for this position is $125,000 - $135,000.
