Overview Load and/or unload trucks. Receive, check, store, count and distribute inventory of all types in accordance with established systems, procedures and methods.
Responsibilities
Maintain safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state and federal requirements
Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goal
Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
Manage day to day inventory level
Maintain Forklift certification
Periodic inventories
Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend to management remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
Timely execution of daily receiving and shipping load board oversee the receipt of purchased goods verifying counts, quality and complete all required paperwork and transactions associated to this process
Stacks and arranges product on pallets
Completes forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift
Replenish stock while maintaining a cleaned and organized warehouse/location daily
Moves product in warehouse/location as necessary during reallocations of space or taking of inventory
Rotates product and arranges according to Julian dates or FIFO (first in first out)
Receives and checks against receiving documents incoming product, ensuring proper product code, quantity and condition; reports any discrepancies to the lead
Operates electric forklifts and pallet jacks
Works in and out of freezers, temperatures average 0 degrees to 25 degrees
General support of production
Support and provide materials to production to meet department's needs
Perform all other work as assigned

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English. Must possess basic computer skills and attention to detailed numbering records.
• Prefer High School diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years of Warehouse, manufacturing or production experience.
• Achieve and maintain forklift certification.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
General Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to work in production/warehouse environment with consistent exposure to loud machinery
Ability to work in extreme temperature, both indoors and outdoors
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Valid Driver's License
Fluency in English (Written and Verbal) prefer
Pay rate Pay rate: $20.81/hr
