At CRI, #EverybodyCounts. Essential Functions: Position requires advanced understanding of GAAP and ability to analyze financial statements. Including ability to resolve or advise on correcting entries. Work will encompass job costing analysis, project setup/tracking, and entries in various software systems (Xero, QuickBooks Online or Desktop, Deltek, Sage, etc.) Understanding of ASC 606 and its application for different contract types Provide contract management and set up support and analysis, including invoicing, guidance, and support. Assist with contract pricing and estimating, including Forward Pricing (FPRP) and Request for Proposal (RFP) efforts. Conduct Cost & Price Analysis Advise and generate indirect cost structures and provide analysis and/or modeling to assist clients. Understanding of ASC 842 and applying to clients as needed. Work closely with practice leadership to plan and execute the following types of projects. Compliance and Gap Assessments Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) Assist with DFAR business system evaluations, process documentation and improvements. Including SF1408 preparations. Meet with DCAA & DCMA and other auditors on behalf of clients. Incurred cost submission (ICE) and Indirect Cost Proposals (ICP) - review and/or preparation Conduct walkthroughs of a client’s accounting processes and assist with updating and/or developing accounting process policies and procedures. Qualifications: Ability to understand and perform full accrual accounting for federal contracting and commercial clients (GAAP compliance, prepaids, payroll accruals, etc.) Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting Proven experience and knowledge in compliance, auditing, and advising companies with FAR, DFAR, CAS and other applicable federal regulations. Well developed competencies in written and verbal communication, time management, interfacing with leadership at varied levels and mentoring staff. Historical demonstration of client service, project management and meeting deadlines.
