Job Summary :

The Analytics Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications, integrations, and reports using the Microsoft SQL Server platform. This role includes analytics support, business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, requirements gathering, testing, monitoring, and solution implementation within a structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Support (5+ years)

Provide analytics support to Health Systems, Finance, and the Analytics Division.

Participate in meetings with project managers, team leads, analysts, and agency staff to gather requirements and provide technical insight.

Report & ETL Development (3+ years)

Build, optimize, and maintain ETL packages using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and timely delivery of reports.

Application Development (3+ years)

Lead the development and implementation of software solutions related to budgeting, STARRS, and other accounting systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs.

SQL Development (8+ years)

Write efficient and accurate SQL queries for reporting and analytics.

Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and views.

Create and deploy scripts for new database objects, patches, and schema updates.

Database Management (3+ years)

Assist with schema design, code reviews, and SQL query optimization.

Support schema upgrades, data improvements, and performance tuning initiatives.

Power BI Reporting (3+ years)

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Provide actionable insights through visualizations for business stakeholders.

Education Required :

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

Qualifications :

Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI.

Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.

Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.

Hands-on experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred : Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, or health insurance domains.
