Lead Applications Integration Engineer
Gotham Technology Group is seeking a senior-level engineer to drive the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise applications and desktop solutions for our end‑user computing (EUC) team. This role blends hands‑on engineering with leadership responsibilities, ensuring seamless integration, high performance, and security of end‑user applications across physical and virtual environments.
Base Pay Range $160,000.00 / yr – $180,000.00 / yr

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise application solutions to enhance the end‑user experience.
Deploy and configure enterprise software with personalized settings across physical and virtual desktops.
Integrate, profile, configure, and support end‑user applications in secure, hybrid, or zero‑trust environments.
Troubleshoot complex application issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
Configure system‑level and operating system settings, manage Group Policies, and optimize user and system configurations for performance and security.
Monitor system and application performance, identify root causes of bottlenecks, and implement optimization measures.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Advanced Endpoint Engineering to align with the EUC roadmap and strategic initiatives.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and IT team members.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (preferred).
5–10 years of experience in application integration, systems engineering, or end‑user computing, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
Proven expertise in Windows OS customization, registry management, Group Policy, and Intune configuration.
Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Intune policy management.
Deep familiarity with legal business applications such as iManage Work 10, Litera Desktop Suite (Compare, Innova, Contract Companion), IntApp Time, and Adobe Acrobat DC.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Suite, including OneDrive, Teams, and Edge, with experience in add‑ins and toolbar customization.
Experience configuring collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Jabber) across both physical and virtual desktop environments.
Working knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms including Hyper‑V, VMware ESXi, Citrix CVAD/DaaS, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
Strong PowerShell and SQL scripting skills for automation, customization, and system optimization.
Familiarity with performance monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Windows Performance Analyzer, ControlUp, Perfmon, and Wireshark.
Experience with user profile management tools like FSLogix and Ivanti AppSense.
