Job Title : Senior Network Engineer
Location : New York, NY 10065 (Local Candidates Strongly Preferred)
Schedule : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM (60-minute break)
Type : 34-week Remote / Hybrid Contract (Flexible Day / Evening / Night Shifts Required)
Pay : $60 – $65 / hour
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to support critical network infrastructure operations in a dynamic hybrid environment. This role requires advanced expertise in enterprise networking technologies and the flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure
Configure and support routing and switching (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, VRF, etc.)
Implement and maintain firewalls (Palo Alto), load balancers (F5), wireless (Aruba), and DDI (Infoblox) solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network design and security initiatives
Perform detailed network analysis and optimize performance across layers of the OSI model
Ensure high availability, redundancy, and QoS across LAN / WAN environments
Required Qualifications
5–7+ years experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
Advanced knowledge of the OSI model and inter-layer interactions
CCNP-level expertise in :
BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
STP, HSRP / VRRP, NAT
TCP / UDP, Ethernet, VRF
QoS, Multicast (inter / intra-domain)
Hands-on experience with :
Palo Alto , Arista , Cisco , F5 , Infoblox , Aruba Wireless
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
CCNP or higher certification
Prior experience in hybrid / remote support environments
