About the Role Via Logic LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Infrastructure Deployment to design, integrate, and implement compute and storage solutions for enterprise-scale environments. This role focuses on delivering scalable, high-performance, and automated infrastructure deployments supporting mission and modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will architect and execute deployments across virtualization, storage, and hybrid‑cloud platforms while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance standards are met.
Core Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and integrate compute and storage infrastructures across on‑premise and cloud environments.
Lead implementation of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and Python to automate provisioning and configuration.
Conduct performance testing, system tuning, and capacity planning for large‑scale infrastructure.
Support migration and deployment activities ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Collaborate with security and DevSecOps teams to embed controls aligned with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP frameworks.
Document architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and network layers to maintain operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
10+ years of systems engineering experience in enterprise or federal environments.
Strong background in virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Experience performing infrastructure deployments, migrations, and performance testing.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux server administration, including patching and monitoring.
U.S. citizenship required (Public Trust eligibility).
Preferred Certifications
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
HashiCorp Terraform Associate
AWS or Azure Solutions Architect Associate
CompTIA Security+ or Network+
