Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Lead project work group meetings and own regular status communications to stakeholders
Interact with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior business partners
Ensure all project deliverables are managed on time and with high quality
Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on)
Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal against deliverables
Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with stakeholders
Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
Project status oversight & reporting on delays/risks/issues across priorities such as MRA2 and SDM
Data quality support, such as reviewing reports and partnering with project managers on timely corrections
Portfolio/Program oversight and regular required updates such as tangible business outcomes and metrics
Quality assurance reviews and audits
Requirements:
5+ years of all aspects of end-to-end project management experience including process improvement/re-engineering in the Agile project methodology for both process only and/or technology change efforts
Strongly proficient using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and in Visio
Strong PowerPoint presentation skills and ability to target messaging to different audiences
Experience with managing a large, complex group of stakeholders and ability to communicate effectively and influence decisions to achieve desired results
Strong decision making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills
Proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability
Excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely compressed deadlines
Enthusiastic, energetic, determined and positive - especially under pressure
Ability to navigate enterprise, research and resource information
Critical thinker and risk minded
Desired skills:
Experience supporting and participating in technology change efforts in project manager role
Proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability
Proficient in understanding technology and data management
5+ years of project management experience with a complete understanding of the key principles and frameworks of Project Management and Process Development
Project Management Professional Certified
Pay range: $50.39 - $58.39
