DevOps Engineer
to help us scale and optimize our development and deployment processes.
Job Summary The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in managing and automating our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and monitoring. You'll collaborate closely with developers and system administrators to streamline our software delivery and ensure platform reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment.
Manage cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean) for availability, scalability, and security.
Monitor system performance and reliability; implement logging, alerts, and recovery strategies.
Collaborate with development teams to support feature rollouts, bug fixes, and environment configuration.
Write and maintain scripts for automation using tools like
Bash ,
Python , or
Terraform .
Enforce best practices for DevOps, infrastructure as code (IaC), and system security.
Maintain and monitor staging and production environments.
Assist in managing DNS, SSL certificates, and backups.
Required Skills & Experience
2–4 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer, or System Administrator role.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (preferably
AWS ) and deployment tools (e.g.,
Docker ,
Kubernetes ).
Experience with CI/CD tools like
GitHub Actions ,
GitLab CI ,
Jenkins , or similar.
Strong understanding of
Linux servers , shell scripting, and networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like
Datadog ,
Prometheus ,
Grafana , or
ELK stack .
Experience with version control (Git) and container orchestration.
Solid troubleshooting and incident response skills.
Excellent communication and ability to work across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
infrastructure as code (IaC)
tools like
Terraform
or
CloudFormation .
Familiarity with
Nginx ,
Apache ,
MySQL , and
Redis .
Exposure to security practices, including firewalls, SSH, and vulnerability scanning.
Previous experience supporting SaaS platforms or web applications at scale.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science ,
Information Technology , or related technical field.
Equivalent professional experience and/or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) also considered.
