$105,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Senior Accountant Location:
Hybrid (2 days in office weekly in Chicago) Join a dynamic manufacturing company with a strong foundation and forward-thinking leadership. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully across accounting and finance operations. The company offers work life balance, a low turnover environment, and excellent benefits. The Senior Accountant will lead key financial reporting and analysis functions. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and performance analysis Oversee accounting activities for multiple locations Validate financial data submitted for accuracy and consistency Prepare and interpret product-level and segment-level financial reports Support corporate reporting requirements, including tax and financial packages for parent entities Develop and maintain accruals and SG&A reporting tools for operational transparency Deliver clear, actionable variance analyses to leadership Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure compliance with accounting standards Identify and implement process enhancements across financial systems and workflows Serve as a key resource during internal and external audits Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification strongly preferred 4 to 10 years of experience in accounting, ideally spanning both public accounting and corporate accounting sectors Proven success in close cycles and financial analytics Seniority level
