GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Department of Psychology is seeking a tenure‑track Assistant Professor to serve as a core faculty member in our CACREP‑accredited MS and PhD programs in the Division of Counseling and Rehabilitation Science beginning Fall 2026.
The position will involve maintaining an independent research program supported by external funding, mentoring PhD students, and teaching graduate courses in the Clinical Counseling MS and Rehabilitation Education Counseling PhD programs. Faculty will teach four courses per year, which may be reduced through grant buyout or other external funding opportunities.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and interest in working with students and community members of many backgrounds and a commitment to fostering equity and inclusion.
QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience: Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree in a related field. Preference will be given to those with an active, externally funded program in mental health and/or psychiatric rehabilitation. Candidates with research focused on health, well‑being, and disability more broadly are also encouraged to apply.
