Our client will consider candidates who are open to relocating to Cincinnati Real estate investment and asset management firm with a diverse portfolio of office, industrial, multifamily, and retail properties is seeking a VP of Capital Markets to lead the firm’s equity and debt capital formation, fundraising efforts, and investor relations strategy. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional with a strong background in real estate finance, investment structuring, and capital raising who is looking to take ownership of the firm’s capital markets platform. The VP of Capital Markets will work closely with the senior leadership and acquisitions teams to drive growth through new investor relationships, fund creation, and creative deal structuring.

Responsibilities

Lead all capital raising initiatives for property-level and fund-level investments.

Develop and execute strategies to attract institutional, family office, RIA, and high-net-worth investors.

Manage ongoing investor relations, providing updates, reporting, and performance insights.

Oversee equity and debt structuring, collaborating with acquisitions and finance teams.

Build and maintain a robust network of capital partners, brokers, and financial institutions.

Identify emerging market trends, investment opportunities, and financing solutions.

Represent the firm at industry events and investor meetings, enhancing the company’s visibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

7+ years of experience in real estate capital markets, fundraising, or investment management.

Proven success in raising capital from institutional and private investors.

Deep understanding of real estate finance, equity structures, and capital stack strategy.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

Entrepreneurial and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
