Overview The role is responsible for ensuring that people and property across the Activision Blizzard portfolio are protected. This includes a workforce of 10,000+ personnel, over 60 global locations, and live events. You will own the strategy, development and deployment of a comprehensive global physical security and safety program. You will directly oversee the Director of Global Physical Security & Safety Ops, Global Physical Security Program Leader, and the Health and Safety Program, leading a team of eight personnel and overseeing approximately 100 vendor staff.
Responsibilities
Strategic leadership for the global physical security and safety program.
Direct oversight of the global health & safety program.
Vendor management oversight of service providers such as physical security technology integrators, guard force, executive protection, threat management, etc.
Budget management.
Lead and oversee large‑scale security/safety emergency response.
Oversight of global programs, policies, and procedures such as GEROC, physical security intelligence and investigations, guard force deployment, threat management, physical security technology, event security, executive protection, emergency response and resilience, and health and safety compliance.
Qualifications
At least 15 years’ experience in physical security, corporate security, law enforcement, military, or a combination thereof, with at least 7 years of supervisory experience.
Multi-national corporate security experience.
BA or BS highly desired; MA or MS preferred. Degrees in criminal justice, homeland security, emergency management, business administration, or organizational leadership preferred.
Membership in professional networking groups such as ASIS, InfraGard, or other security groups preferred.
Possession of IC‑100 and NIMS‑700 certifications along with knowledge in emergency response and resilience preferred.
Knowledge of OSHA and health and safety compliance required.
Experience with vendor management, budget management, and RFPs.
Knowledge of video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection technology.
Experience with security operations centers, intelligence, threat management, investigations.
Demonstrated understanding of best practices in physical security and safety strategies.
Effective time management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
Strong customer service and delivery orientation.
Integrity, honesty, poise, tact, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
