Food and Beverage Manager - Waldorf Astoria Chicago Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to join the team in Chicago's Gold Coast! This Forbes 4‑Star property located in downtown Chicago has a Parisian‑style charm with 318 rooms, 8,500 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets: a restaurant, cafe, and in‑room dining.

In this role, you will oversee in‑room dining, managing a team of 14, reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, and assisting in the other two food and beverage outlets as needed.

Responsibilities

Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.

Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.

Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.

Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000–$70,000.
